Open Question: ladybug totems?

This weekend I was at a pagan campout, and at this campout, there was a guy making totems for something we call creative currency (I will trade you this for that). This guy was making clay totems for people who have totem animals.
I didn’t know what mine was, but every time I started talking about totems, a lady bug landed on me or flew very close to me. I kind of figured out that it ment that ladybug was one of my totems. Can anyone tell me what the lady bug means in this context? or tell me what ladybug means to you.
